If this were real all the smart people would be dead and the stupid people would be led by some lunatic. So I hope for the next season, They get a janitor, football coach, teacher, Contruction worker, priest, or religous figure anyone, they just have to be religous, a zoo keeper, a farmer, fashion designer, a waiter and waitress, and finally a politician. And lets see what happens.

In addition to the staged marauders they should have had a second colony and not told the two about each other to see how they did things differently and to see both sides of how they competed for resources once they encountered each other.

Well, there isn’t much there now, just a bunch of abandoned warehouses and bums. But in the first episode everywhere they were on the bridge, I’m sure they closed that area off. Motorists do use that bridge.

I laughed when they walked right by them on the first day and then when the second group walked by them.
