wat energy is related to electromagnets? oh and nice vid

Be smart – don’t pay any more electricity bills. more info: solar.xfollow.me (Copy to your browser’s take up bar)

Fantastic job! I want to see a cost analyst against our traditional energy producing methods like oil and coal.

Thankyou very much. Very impressive!

You may be attracted in the “Suncube” photovoltaic solar tracker (website: greenandgoldenergy. com. au) that recorded a 34.1% peak efficiency only a few months after the SES’s solar stirling record.

It looks like a “Reflective Stirling” vs “Fresnel Lens Photovoltaic” efficiency competition is afoot! :D

i tried to send you some links twice but they failed both times.

“your 50% figure might be a touch like ‘thermal efficiency’, which is a completely different concept.”

your right, i am perplexing the two concepts ^.^’

look up appendix B solar sterling engine. they have an energy conversion efficiency of 31.25%

“If they really converted 50%, people wouldn’t be bothering with solar photovoltaics.”

they would if the economics were more feasable with photovoltaics.

wretched to be a stickler, but can you give me more info please?

Because i’ve looked into this stuff: Solar concentrator Stirlings generally convert around 23%-27% of the sunlight into energy. If they really converted 50%, people wouldn’t be bothering with solar photovoltaics.

your 50% figure might be a touch like ‘thermal efficiency’, which is a completely different concept.

some sterling engines are nearly 50% efficient.

roidroid September 27, 2010 at 8:13 pm

are you sure that compressed hydrogen filled Stirling engines are more efficient than solar panels?
Coz i know solar panels that are over 30% efficient.
I don’t know any Stirling engine that efficient.

Fantastic video, a message that needs to be heard.
